Rounded Back

Rounded back is a common spinal deformities that causes by hyperkyphosis (increase curvature of mid back)



Rounded back can be caused by many factors includes:


Symptom includes: muscle weakness, abnormally posture and gait, pain

Risk factor

  • Elderly
  • Office worker
  • Adolescence



Exercise 1:

Standing with arms extended upward, sticks your palms together, take a deep breath and hold for 20 to 30 and then relax, do this 5 times a day.

Exercise 2:

Keep the knees bent and the lower back flat on the floor while raising the shoulders up 3 - 6 inches.

Exhale on the way up, and inhale on the way down.

Perform this exercise slowly five times with the arms across the chest.
